ABOUT

Oahu's first
mobile golf experience.

Founded by Daren Kawika Martin, SwingLab Hawaii is Oahu's first and only mobile golf simulator — built on four values: reliability, hospitality, accessibility, and community.

SwingLab Hawaii is Oahu's first mobile golf simulator.

Who's behind SwingLab Hawaii?

My name is Daren Kawika Martin, and I started SwingLab Hawaii because I love golf and I saw an opportunity to create something great.

The idea came to me one night — I was playing video games and thought, what if you could bring a world-class golf experience to people instead of making them come to it? Next thing I know, it's real life. I connected the pieces together and started building something I believe can change how people experience golf on the islands.

I'm not going to pretend I have decades of business experience. This is my family's first company, but I believe you can become good at anything if you put the time into it. What I do bring is a genuine love for the sport, a commitment to reliability, and the drive to make every single event we touch unforgettable.

My wife Mari handles our marketing and branding. Together, we're building SwingLab from the ground up — and we're just getting started.

Why mobile golf?

Golf has a problem — it's expensive, exclusive, time-consuming, and intimidating. A traditional round takes 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Country clubs have dress codes and membership fees. Beginners feel judged at the driving range.

SwingLab Hawaii breaks all of that down.

Our trailer is a private, climate-controlled space where anyone can pick up a club and swing without judgment. A beginner in a hoodie with a beer in hand gets the same tour-level TrackMan experience as a scratch golfer preparing for a tournament. That inclusivity isn't a marketing angle — it's the core of what we do.

Nationally, simulator usage has increased 73% compared to pre-pandemic levels, with over 6 million Americans using a golf simulator in 2024. Off-course participation — simulators, driving ranges, and entertainment venues — is now outpacing traditional on-course play in growth. The future of golf is meeting people where they are, and that's exactly what SwingLab does.

Our mission: make golf accessible to everyone

SwingLab Hawaii is built on four core values:

Reliability & Accountability

We do what we say we'll do. We arrive on time with well-maintained equipment that works perfectly every time.

Fantastic Hospitality

We prioritize creating extraordinary experiences. Every event includes a professional host focused on customer smiles and seamless setup.

Accessibility

Golf should be fun and stress-free for everyone, regardless of skill level or background. No experience needed. No judgment. Just play.

Community Engagement

We partner with local schools and organizations to host free youth golf clinics, teaching the basics in a fun, high-tech environment that appeals to kids who might never set foot on a traditional golf course.

The SwingLab difference

Oahu's only mobile golf simulator, powered by a patented Dryvebox trailer, utilizing TrackMan I/O technology used by 80+ of the world's top 100 professional golfers. Every booking includes a professional host, all equipment, and zero logistical headaches for you.

But beyond the technology and the patents, the real difference is this: we care about the experience. We're not dropping off a rental and driving away. We're there with you — setting up, hosting, making sure every guest has the time of their life, and packing up when it's over.

That's the SwingLab promise.
